The quality of wood moldings is determined by the precision knife grinding and feed speed of the machine. Defecting splits and knots in the wood is also critical. The Weinig technology employs 6,000 rpm spindle speeds, which create greater knife cuts per inch and nets greater quality molding. Matched with highly skilled machine operators, set-up and grinding specialists, the finished product is of excellent quality, with exact matching from run to run.

With over 1900 patterns of stock knives, there is a wide selection of moldings not requiring a knife grinding charge. Custom moldings to match any profile are welcome at Wood Systems, as well as radius moldings and arched or curved patterns. Moldings run out of any wood species; pre-finishing to match your custom finish; and, cutting to specified lengths all lend to the variety of products available.
